Hey! Next Tuesday, March 4, people might actually check out CBS' "Early Show" for a change. That morning, Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley will unveil the nominees for the 43rd Annual Academy of Country Music Awards. I assume "Early" will have the announcement since CBS will broadcast the show on May 18 from Las Vegas.
Each of the announcers have ACM hardware in their curio cabinet; Brad has seven ACM Awards while Carrie won three last year alone.
Station to Station: WKRN has video from the Station Nightclub fire benefit in Rhode Island the other night that featured John Rich, Gretchen Wilson and Dierks Bentley.
Mindy's Trials: Mindy McCready heads back to court next month.
Simpson Trial: OMG! Jessica Simpson's country record is in jeopardy because she insists on concentrating on her pesky relationship with DAllas Cowboys QB Tony Romo.
