PRIDE OF THE RANGERS (Items on Charley Pride, Billy Ray Cyrus, Cindy Walker, Diana DeGarmo, Snoop Dogg, Shooter Jennings)

Billy Crystal did it with the Yankees (0-1 with a strikeout this week against the Pirates), Garth Brooks has done it with (it seems) most of Major League Baseball and Charley Pride, too, is in spring training, working out with the Texas Rangers.
With no offense to the others, Charley's got the bona fides to work out with the pros, since he was one himself; He played in the Negro Leagues and MLB's minor leagues (He was once even traded for a bus). He's also been to spring training at least since the early 1970's with either the Brewers or Rangers.
