A rumor that the blonde dynamo have died from congestive heart failure
apparently started with an announcement at a high school football game Friday (8/22) and grew from there...with calls to Tennessee media outlets and her P.R. people. By Saturday, Dolly was alive enough to decline issuing a statement confirming her continued existence.
Here's a very recent chat with Dolly about her new musical and the creative process among other things and here's an MP3 snippet of the interview from the Chattanooga Times Free Press.

Tennessee Flat-Top Boxspring: Here's "5 Things You Didn't Know" about Johnny Cash from AskMen.com...Meanwhile, you can own Johnny & June's bed...after it's finished (this month) as a museum piece...sleepy readers can call 615-253-0119 for more info.

Remote Patrol: John Rich on what's coming soon on "Gone Country 2: "People get punched in the face and people pack their bags and leave the show. I mean get up and leave. Jessica Simpson pops up on a repeat of "The View" Tuesday...Tuesday's Ellen Degeneres do-over features Keith Urban...Lady Antebellum will perform on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Wednesday, with Glen Campbell on tap for the ABC show Friday night.
Food Network's "Dinner: Impossible" Wednesday has James Otto and Chuck Wicks (among others) gobbling down a dish inspired by "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" (I'm guessing Peaches Flambé).
