D.C. YA (Items on Faith Hill, Garth Brooks, Jennifer Nettles, John Mellencamp, Loretta Lynn, Glen Campbell, Brad Paisley, Gene Watson)

Faith Hill just can't wait for Sunday night...February 1, that is, at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, where she'll belt out "America the Beautiful" prior to the Super Bowl (between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia...Hey I made a prediction!).
But wait, before that, there's a double dose of Faith awaiting the arrival of our new President as she'll appear on a pair of
inaugural television specials.
The Disney Channel has a big deal planned for Monday night that'll squeeze in Faith between Miley (and her dad), the JoBros, the new first daughters and more. On Tuesday night,
Faith lands on ABC's "The Neighborhood Ball: An Inauguration Celebration."

And ahead of all of that, or today, as I like to call it, HBO will present the "We Are One" concert from The Lincoln Memorial in D.C. twice today (If you don't subscribe to HBO, they're offering it to cable operators as a freebie to ya). Garth Brooks, Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles, John Mellencamp and Pete Seeger are just among a slew of big names performing and appearing.

Meanwhile, back in Texas, President Bush's homecoming will feature a concert with Larry Gatlin and The Gatlin Brothers, Lee Greenwood, Rodney Atkins, and maybe others, on board.

Two're On the Way: Loretta Lynn, idle albumwise since 2004's "Van Lear Rose," will release two albums in '09. The first will be a new effort, followed by a platter of her #1's, re-recorded.

Grindstone Cowboy: Checking in with Glen Campbell on tour as he puts his guitar through a decathlon.

Fourteen Carat Find: How does Brad Paisley stomp on critics of his last Memphis show upon his return? By bringing on the Gene Watson.
